Wooden Calendar
In our workshop we designed and constructed the wooden calendar for the new year. It was made by plywood of 4mm thickness and was cut to the cnc machine.
The function of this object is dual. It can be used as a personal notebook and a diary. Inside the object there are blank paper notes, as well as a pen, which has its own case. Also, there is a monthly calendar of the year, which every page of the month can be removed when the month ends.
Therefore, the personal diary can be transformed into a boarding diary. With simple moves, its sides shape a triangular and can stand on the office desk.
The design of the diary/ personal notebook is well studied in every detail. The blank paper notes can be replaced as soon as they are finished. The monthly calendar can be replaced every new year, too. As a result the object can be used anew.
The object is made out of plywood of 4 mm thickness, in which the cnc machine has engraved the company name and logo. The surface of the object is flexible in specific points in order to fold. This happens due to special cutting design.
